RailWalks: Sydney Bushwalks by CityRail

Planning is underway for the production of a new book on 30 walks in the Greater Sydney area, all starting and finishing at a CityRail station. RailCorp are enthusiastic supporters, and have indicated that they will promote the book through station posters and flyers.

To keep the price as low as possible (hopefully $12 including GST), the books won't be distributed through normal high-markup channels. They will be available mainly from local government offices, NPWS and tourist information centres.

Additional support is being sought from Tourism NSW and the National Parks and Wildlife Service.

The book format is modelled on the tall, narrow, wiro-bound 128-page Family Bushwalks in the Snowy Mountains, now in its second edition. However, I've reduced the height from 247mm to 220mm, and stock weight from 130gsm to 115gsm, to produce a more convenient shape and balance (weight is about 200g).
